Bluetooth technology allows the SportVue BT1, by Motion Research, to show speed, RPM and selected gear info all on a LED display clipped into your motorcycle helmet. This way you dont need to take a eye of the road.
Also displaying a radar detector and a caller ID, but they wont stop there. They are working on have a GPS system displayed also. Expected to be out by Christmas at no more than $200.
This gigantic magnetic slingshot is just one of the many toys the military is able to spend millions of dollars of your tax money on. That’s nothing when you consider they are spending nearly a trillion of our income taxes each year. So just what is this? This is a satellite launch system that uses magnetic levitation to accelarate its payload around a gigantic ring. This would accelerate its payload to an amazing 21,600mph hypothetically allowing it to launch satellites, but if that’s what it’s truly for why’s the military so interested?

Here’s a new concept with should raise some eyebrows. Despite having some really stupid concepts like the vacuum shoes, the new Braille reader called the “Bridge” is very interesting. This concept is designed to let blind people read text that’s not formatted in Braille. The idea is that you the portable reader over any text, which it then scans and translates into Braille on the top surface of the Bridge.
It doesn’t stop their, the Bridge will also have a built in hard drive which will save you readings, where you can then send to a computer.
This is a brillaint design, which doesn’t look too unrealistic. As a matter of fact, this design is already on the drawing boards.

Electrolux who creates everything involving vacuuming, has just released a new shoe vacuum design concept. There’s no word on who these actually work. I’d be interested to see how these store dirt, and and produce suction.
The only problem with these is that you still need to walk around the house. Whats the point in making vacuum shoes when you can just walk around with an actually vacuum. So far i haven’t thought of a reason to look further into these.
