Check out the latest webcam offering from USBgeek. Although the cam looks pretty cool, its functionallity isn’t great, with only a VGA camera to provide telepresence. As far as robotics goes the little beast is pretty limited too, its only function appears to be a couple of lights that come on automatically in darkness. Still, not bad for $24.


Philips and Intel would be developing a portable tablet computer designed to accomodate medics’ need for watching over patients and sending data through their main computers in realtime. The tablet is 10.4 inches with a 1024 x 768 touch-screen resolution display. More information says that it has Bluetooth capabilities which runs through a Wi-Fi connection. Digital cameras to take pictures of patients and other important medical related snapshots are also expected to be in this nifty PDA.



SanDisk’s new concept flash storage USBTV has been released with limited information. What is known is the capacity of it which is quite impressive. Right now they plan to have a 2GB, 4GB, and a 8GB. The Walletex WalletFlash is an ultra thin MP3 designed to be stored in your wallet for your convenience, and impressive capacity of 128MB to 2GB. Although these features are very nice the downside is not having a screen. As of now there is no word on the pricing or other specifics other than the highly anticipated release which is expected sometime in June 2007.
