United Airlines has a new upgrade to their first class suite which is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Let’s start off by saying the “chair” can actually fold into a horizontal bed 6 ft. long. But the fun doesn’t stop there.
Each suite has a 15.4-inch widescreen flat panel monitor with digital on-demand video and music with different selections of movies, TV and video games. United also will offer 50 channels of XM-branded audio content, providing more than 3,000 songs and a jukebox to create customized play lists.
Other items in the new United First Suite include a 110-volt universal plug for laptop power (compatible with power outlets for 145 countries), a USB port, a set of noise-canceling headphones, an iPod connector, and multiple storage compartments to for your laptop bag and other personal items.
If you’re ever interested in being on “cloud 9″ I’d seriously recommend flying first class with United Airlines.

During the holiday season, it’s safe to say that many shoppers buy gift cards for their friends and family. Well Best Buy reported a $43 million gain in fiscal 2006 from cards that hadn’t been used in two or more years. Don’t expect this sales number to go down, this year it’s expected that $24.8 billion worth of cards will be sold, up 34 percent from last year.
How do they earn this money?
Consumer Reports put the figure even higher, estimating that 19 percent of those who received cards last year had not used them because the cards were lost or expired.

Amazon has been having their Customer Vote as a promotional deal. We saw the Xbox 360 win a few weeks ago, but this time it’s the Zune. Starting Tuesday the 30GB media player will be selling for only $90. The only downside is that there are only 1,000 units for sale, which mean these could sell out in seconds, which was the case the the Xbox 360’s.

Before the Zune was released, everything thought that this could be the MP3 player that would take the the iPod dynasty. So it’s been about 2 weeks and how are they doing? Well, not very well. According to Amazon.com’s MP3 player sales charts, the Zune is ranked 18th.
How is the iPod ranked? Well so far the list contains 12 varieties of the iPod (the top 5 are all iPods). Now what could be more surprising then that? There are three different SanDisk Sansas and the Creative Zen Vision: M in front of the Zune. I guess it’s safe to say that the Zune isn’t an iPod killer after all.
