
Soon we’ll be coming up on the three year anniversary of the launch in January of 2004. The bot has lasted much more then expected, taking around 160,000 pictures while traveling around 10.4 miles on ground.

The two rovers has developed over the past two years. Shortly after they landed, they didn’t have the special software they do now. With it’s new capabilities, it can now take pictures with several different angles.
