Today Sony has just released a new PS3 update that the 1080i problem that many of you were having. When starting up your PS3 you will notice that there’s a new message for the system firmware update to version 1.30.
the update is intended to fix that problem when playing a 720p game on an older HDTV that can’t display 720pâ€â€it drops the rez to 480p instead of playing it at the 1080i your set can display. The PS3 now defaults to 1080i in your resolution hierarchy, apparently fixing the problem.
Unfortunately the update only supports game with the option of 720p and 1080i . Which means that if your game can only support 720p, like Resistance, then this update won’t do any luck.

An Australian company called OzIQ has just launched a “pc in a monitor” set to be launched in a few weeks for $3,200. This 32″ monitor has exceeded OzIQ’s previous monitor that was 22″. Just make sure that you stay a good two or three feet away from this puppy so you dont burn your eyes out.
